ALDAIA, AN EXPERIENCE OF LOVE AND WONDERS

Our life in Aldaia began in August 2023, when we arrived. At the beginning we started to build our community, each one giving her idea and little by little this construction became a reality. We are living a unique experience in our community.

The integration of our life as Missionary Dominican Sisters of the Rosary, each one with her own culture, but we live as if we had only one culture (although we do not have it, that of the Gospel-Jesus). Many of us did not know each other, it is in this place that we got to know each one and therefore, we live a very close life among us juniors, particularly with our companions who show us a life of approachability, openness, a welcoming spirit that helps us to be happy, free to express our ideas or frustrations.

In the same way, in this town, we experienced what our first sisters lived in Maldonado as we read in our history at the beginning of the Congregation.

We feel that we have emerged and are part of this close and loving people who even give us their time to help us in our integration process in various dimensions such as learning the Spanish language (for three months free of charge), culture, integration into the mission, etc.

So, we already have started the apostolate in the parish: catechesis in 3 places, in the juniorate groups, confirmation, communion, formation for communion ministries….
