Dear Father

I am writing to you affectionately, with a feeling of admiration and gratitude for the work you have begun and which you are leaving me, not as an inheritance but as a loan, to pass on to the future Dominican Missionary Sisters of the Rosary.

Father, I am writing to you to transmit, through this letter, the appreciation I have for your missionary action. My God, may my vocation be fully lived like yours, Father. I am one more daughter, of the many that today you have scattered throughout the world, seeking the realization of God’s plan, starting from the experience and incarnation of your footsteps. I also want to ask you for the advice of a daughter who trusts and deeply hopes for the good counsel of her father.

Father, I was born of you and from you, I carry traces of blood that today guide my attitudes, but there are moments when I feel as if what I inherited from you remains dead words, words without action.

Father, I want to be like you in my experience, in my approach, in my love, in my surrender, in my intimacy, in my donation to God and to my brothers and sisters. Help me from my good will to be like you, do not abandon me, sustain me Father.

Father, walk by my side, move my being, touch my sensitivity, energize my life, drive my heart, make me a compassionate missionary, with a vision of the present and the future, heal my wounds, help me to direct my life to the service of the new Maldonados and the new Philippines.

Father, raise my eyes to those who most need my comfort, make sure that your footsteps do not stop and find in me the continuity to continue.

I admire you and love my father.
