In Cameroon, the National Jubilee of Consecrated Life was celebrated in Yaounde, from January 31 to February 2, 2025, under the presidency of Mgr Faustin Ambassa Ndjodo, Archbishop of Garoua and President of the Episcopal Commission for Consecrated Life. The theme around which the activities were structured was: “Pilgrims of Hope on the path of Reconciliation and Peace”. The aim of this celebration was to appreciate the jubilee time as a grace of reconciliation and fraternal communion. To this end, the opening activities took place at the Basilica of Mary Queen of the Apostles of Mvolyé with the solemn prayer of adoration. The community and individual penitential celebration helped and guided us to take the path to heaven. During the great Way of the Cross, we made a symbolic gesture which consisted of planting the tree of peace (the oil palm). During these three days, we prayed together and we rejoiced in the gift of Life Total Consecration to God for his Church. We were invited by Monsignor Philippe Alain Mbarga, Bishop of Ebolowa, during the closing Mass to collaborate in the work of God in humility, obedience, mercy and perseverance.
