Dear Mother Ascensión Nicol,

With humility and a heart open to you, I turn to you to share the dreams and fears that dwell within me today, seeking light and comfort in your life dedicated to God and to the poorest.

I recognize my limitations, marked by weaknesses and failures, but with a deep longing to follow Jesus as you did: with passion, dedication, and fidelity. I want to be an instrument of his love among the most needy and live the missionary Charism that you and Monsignor Ramón Zubieta embodied with such courage.

I dream of a generous dedication, of a community life where sisterhood reigns and where synodality is lived in every step as a way of walking together and of dialogue. I desire to be a woman of God who walks with joy and serenity, who listens with her heart, and who wants to learn every day to see the face of the suffering Christ in the little ones. I ask God for the strength and courage to face life’s challenges, overcome my fears, and embrace every emotion with trust in Him. As you did, I believe the Lord will guide my path even when I don’t clearly see where it leads.

Dear Mother Ascension, you who walked in synodality, who knew how to listen to God in prayer, in community, and in creation, teach me that same attitude of deep listening. Teach me to live with firmness and tenderness. Help me to trust fully in God’s will, even in the midst of darkness, uncertainty, fear, or weariness.

Today, in this world so in need of prophets of hope and witnesses of the Kingdom, I ask you to intercede for me, to walk by my side. With God’s grace, I want to continue this journey with fidelity and joy. I know I do not walk alone, because you accompany me, and the Spirit continues to work powerfully in hearts that open themselves to His will.
