On the occasion of the 2025 Jubilee Year, a 30-kilometer walk from Porvenir to Cobija, Bolivia, was organized at the Church level. It has been a gift from God to deepen my faith in the God of fullness of life, walking alongside the people amid prayer, song, and sharing experiences.
One more step, another step, moving forward to achieve our goal. Stopping to wait for those who moved more slowly, a way of empathizing with those whose pace is different.
The care among the group members with small, meaningful signs of life, such as asking how we were feeling, offering us water. God was there.
Listening to the silence of the night, feeling the heartbeat, praising and blessing, discovering, in the night with a full moon, other melodies that are not heard amid the noise of the day, and there God was present with us again.
I feel that this journey helps me continue to strive for a better society, facing the challenges I face daily in my consecrated life as a Dominican Missionary of the Rosary with love and hope, together with my community sisters and the people God places in our path.
