Let us be united in our hope and embrace all that is good in our hearts and guide our thoughts, desires, and actions with the message of the Jubilee Year of Hope which Pope Francis opened on December 24, 2024, and will conclude in December 2025.
Let us work together in hope; the Jubilee Year of Hope leads us to discover in our daily lives our connection with God the Father and also with our brothers and sisters, emphasizing what God has placed in our hearts: the virtues of faith, hope, and charity.
Faith helps us to trust in God's love throughout our lives, hope keeps us firm in the belief that God is the ultimate goal of our existence, and charity allows us to combine faith with hope in our daily practices.
Hope is not weak, it is to do good and prosper, to live life well. If people have a weak heart because they are confused, they wish to compete with each other in life. The virtue of hope teaches us to have patience, to know how to resist in life, to know how to look to the future with a trusting eye that hope is not weak. Hope is never weak.
Therefore, this year comes to be a year of grace, a year of divine favor. We, the community of Our Lady the Rosary, Oe-cusse, we feel that this is an opportunity to renew our faith through this Jubilee Year of Hope. We all are called to acts of charity, to help each other, gather in prayer, offer ourselves in sacrifice, confession, and the Mfass. These acts lead us to be filled with the virtue of hope, to do good and prosper.
The heart is an essential element in the quality of life and harmony in the lives we lead. Let us cultivate our hope for life during the Jubilee Year 2025; this year will allow us to rise as a leaven for the world and humanity; a leaven of change, of peace, of justice, of open-heartedness, of forgiveness, and a leaven of charity.
The Jubilee Year of hope offers each one to continue as pilgrims to this world, walking towards a new world, a new land filled with new life in the Kingdom of God.
