THE DIVERSITY OF CONGREGATIONS IN A COUNTRY IS A WEALTH

We had the usual gathering of religious men and women. But this Sunday was very special because it was a moment of relaxation to get to know each other better as well as our different congregations.

The meeting took place in the house of the Sisters of the Holy Union. The start of the activities was scheduled for 3:00 p.m., after the installation of the members, we began with a prayer that was pronounced by the local father.

The different congregations introduced themselves and each one of them spoke about their spirituality, their charism, and their founders; then we participated in a game led by a sister from the congregation of St. John the Apostle of Simbock. The game consisted of talking about the life of Saint Joseph, since this month is dedicated to him.

She shared the tickets with us, and each had to join a group and then demonstrate it with a performance.

My group was the one of “courage and creativity”, which consisted of representing Saint Joseph when Mary gave birth to the Child Jesus in a manger, the donkeys and some people who came to visit. Then we share the food brought by each congregation and we conclude with prayer.

It was a moment of relaxation, pastoral care, and joy for us.
